Another Prophosy of Merlyn - the meeting of Men and Women

Merlyn is said to have pronounced the following prophecy, standing near St German's Grotto on the shores of Whitsand Bay:--

"When the Rame Head and Dodman meet,
Man and woman will have cause to greet."

[Outside of this book St. German's Grotto at Whitsands Bay is unknown to the internet - very mysterious!  This prophesy (presented more simply as a proverb) was also recorded by Ray in 1768.]
