These perpetual anniversary calendars where hand-drawn by myself, the author of this blog, and professionally printed and bound. Being perpetual it can be used indefinitely to record birth, deaths and marriages and other cyclical celebrations (perhaps local folklore events!)
They are A3 portrait. Each one contains a plethorer of detail, often referencing folklore and myth, including the unfolding story of a dragons life, the story of a relationship and a hidden feather, oak leaf and key on every page...
They are £12, (a pound a month!) and I shall post them for free to any UK address. Contact me if you live further away and I will find out the cost.

Another venture I have embarked on is the creation of rustic 'Pixie Doors'. These are hand made doors to put on your skirting board or on your door to indicate that the pixies are welcome in your house (especially the friendly helpful sort...).
They are all made on Devon timber, cut and crafted without recourse to power tools (hand saw, axe and sandpaper), except the use of an electric pyrography tool to burn onto them the semblance of hinges. They are not designed to physically work (though they would if you wanted to install them to), but they are more of a magical / conceptual doorway.

They follow in a modern tradition of installing little doors inside doors I have seen in the Westcountry, which in turn comes from recorded tradition of people in Cornwall building for Pixies. For instance it has been recorded that one 1850's Cornish man would not block up a hole in his house wall because he wanted to let the Pixies come and go as they please (from Margaret Baker's Folklore and Customs of Rural England). I also know of one traditional Cornish woman whose old door step is raised with a little door in it for the pixies.
The current crop I have made are all Hazel cut from my organic allotment. All the designs pictured might not be available, but I can do requests or personalizations!
